DAY 14

Nothing could be worse than yesterday. Today I am feeling good in the knowledge that we face no more rapids larger than a level 6. My clothing and sleepeing bag are again
wet and drying on rocks. Today was rather uneventful by comparison; we rafted, hiked small side canyons, and waved at the tourboats going by. If you are beginning to think
these photos of rock walls and canyon are getting repetitious in this slideshow, you should have been on this raft for 280 miles. Yes, there is a lot of rock , water, sky...and not much
else to do except chat, row, get high and shoot pictures. By early evening we found a sandy camp, and set up the kitchen just as the wind began to pick up...for a slightly gritty dinner.
