DAY 8
In the early morning, we went up into a side canyon fissure and explored. It made for some interesting photography! After that, we ran the river for about 6 hours,
and covered two level 7 rapids, a 6, a 5 and some 4s and 3s. Keeping centered on the tongue of the rapid and avoiding a spillout into an eddie at the end...
is much more tiring than one might think. It isn't as simple as letting the current take you; the current will run you into rocks and walls, or pull you into an endless loop.
