DAY 10
Feeling much more rested with this being after our layover, and representing the halfway point in our adventure...we all felt more comfortable with the odds of our survival.
We explored a side canyon with a trickle of water, did some more rowing, some more small rapids, mostly 4s and 5s, and in the late afternoon, we found a
suitable campsite
with enough canyon on both sides to provide shade both then and in the morning...also having nice easy-to-unload upon rock ledges...and a few soft sandy spots for my bed.
