PurePrest is the name of a premium line of grape juice beverages. By using pressure to pasteurize the grapes instead of heat, you get a juice that has all the nutrients of the fruit and the quality of a fine wine without the alcohol. "Grapes are best when PurePrest" was the slug I proposed.
I started with a tapered shape like a wine goblet, easy to hold...and then thought to make the bottom round, using the slogan "So good you can't put it down."
That led to another idea, of making the lid into a pedestal shape that could be flipped and inserted into a hole-indentation underneath, transforming the goblet into a wine glass...of sorts.
I then designed the logo and the package graphics, and named the flavors, to further create the feel of a fine vineyard beverage.
My first idea was to use a natural wooden cap…
Then I got the idea of reversing the cap to use as a base pedestal, like a wine glass…
