This is a pet project of mine – easy-to-render, using a growing library of gestures, poses and phonemes - a daily animated comic strip. COSMO stands for Constant Orbit Satellite Maintenance Officer, a character stationed forever in space to respond to satellite problems quickly. The comic's editorial comments come from what he sees in and on the types of satellites he fixes, military, communications, GPS, etc. Like the Maytag repairman, he has a lot of extra time, and gets lonely, so he constructs a sidekick dog from scrap metal, named Crash.
